Il Tour de Corse è stato senza dubbio il rally più duro del campionato ed ha visto Jari-Matti Latvala salire sul gradino più alto del podio dell'isola francese.

La gara francese è chiamata anche il rally delle 10000 curve e la cosa è stata confermata dalla fatica dei piloti alla fine di ogni speciale che erano circa la metà rispetto agli altri eventi della stagione ma con lo stesso chilometraggio finale, questo significa tratti cronometrati da 30 fino a 60km che mettevano a dura prova la concentrazione dei piloti costretti ad una guida attenta e priva di errori.

Il maltempo ha giocato la sua parte nel rendere tutto più difficile rendendo addirtittura impraticabile un tratto di strada a causa di allagamenti e frane (dove anche noi fotografi stavamo per rimanere intrappolati) con la conseguenza della sospensione di due prove speciali e la riduzione di quasi 100km del percorso.

Verso gli ultimi giorni di gara le condizioni sono migliorate rendendo l'isola in tutta la sua bellezza, ma lascio onore alle foto di raccontare questi particolari.

The Tour de Corse was undoubtedly the toughest rally of the season and saw Jari-Matti Latvala get on the top step of the podium of the French island.

The French race is also called the rally of 10,000 corners and it was confirmed by the fatigue of the drivers at the end of each special which were about half those of the other events of the season but with the same mileage end, this means timed sections 30 up to 60km that put a strain on the concentration of the drivers forced to careful guidance and error-free.

The bad weather has played its part in making it more difficult addirtittura making impractical a stretch of road due to flooding and landslides (where we photographers were going to get caught) with suspension of two special stages and a reduction of almost 100km of the route.

Towards the last days of the race conditions have improved making the island in all its beauty, but I leave the honor of telling these particular at the picture.
